Wed. August 4th- small group cookout- crockpot mac & cheese, sweet tea
Thurs. August 5th- chicken & yellow rice (Rob's working)
Fri. August 6th- Charlotte for Caleb Shaun's birthday
Sat. August 7th- sausage, pancakes & eggs (big lunch since Rob is gone for dinner)
Sun. August 8th- vegetarian lasagna in crockpot (for lunch since Rob works)
Mon. August 9th- leftovers (Rob works)
Tues. August 10th- salmon patties, roasted sweet potatoes, asparagus
Breakfast- oatmeal, omelets, green smoothies
Snacks- roasted chickpeas, homemade whole wheat cheese crackers, fruit
Recipes for the week:
Crockpot Mac & Cheese
- 1.5 cups of elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 8 to 12 oz shredded cheese (I prefer sharp.)
- 4 cups milk
- 1 to 3 Tbs melted butter (I use 1.5 - more than that seems to make it "greasy.")
- salt and pepper
Put all ingredients in crock pot.
Stir together, and cover.
Cook 3 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
